The Foro Romano is located between the Colosseum and the Altare della Patria. The Roman Forum (Forum Romanum, although the Romans referred to it as the Forum Magnum or just the Forum) was located in the valley between the Palatine and the Capitol and was the center of political, religious and commercial center of Rome.
