The Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, usually just called the Frari, is a church in Venice, northern Italy. One of the greatest churches in the city. The church has an important choir stalls installation by Marco Cozzi.
In the church it is possible to admire important works of art by: Giovanni Bellini, Giambattista Pittoni, Girolamo Campagna and the Donatello’s first documented work in Venice (St. John the Baptist).
The Basilica is also important for the monument to Antonio Canova in the Frari, originally designed by Canova for the tomb of Titian.
