Palazzo Municipale of Acireale

Acireale

City Hall (Palazzo Municipale or Loggia Giuratoria in Italian) is located in Piazza del Duomo in Acireale. The building was started in 1659 and rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake and designed by Costantino Larcidiacono between 1783 and 1785. It was again damaged by the 1818 earthquake and repaired permanently in 1908.
