Civita di Bagnoregio is a small city in the province of Viterbo in central Italy hamlet in the town of Bagnoregio, 2 km to the east of it, and about 145 km north of Rome. The village has been awarded the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy. It is also called the dying Italian village (la città che muore), due to the rapid erosion of the site.
