The Correr Museum (Museo Correr ) is a museum of the city of Venice , located in the ” sestiere ” San Marco, near St. Mark’s Square and is part of the Civic Museums Foundation of Venice.

The collection is in the Napoleonic section (or Fabbrica Nuova), which was built in the first half of the nineteenth century at the place of a church and part of the extension of the ” Procuratie ” wanted by Napoleon to be used for the ceremonies.
