The Palace of the Civilization of Italy (Palazzo della Civilta Italiana), sometimes called Palace of the Civilization of Labour (Palazzo della Civilta del Lavoro), is a monumental building that is located in Rome, in the modern EUR district. Designed in 1936, its construction began in July 1938 and it was inaugurated, although incomplete, in 1940; work was interrupted in 1943 and was completed after the war.
It is also called the square Colosseum (Colosseo Quadrato ).
