Piazza del Campo (or Il Campo) is the main square of the city of Siena. It is recognizable by its curved shape inclined like an amphitheater, the lower part overlooking the Palazzo Pubblico and the high tower Torre del Mangia 102 m.

It is the place of the race of the famous Palio of Siena.

In December 2005, the Project for Public Spaces has chosen the Piazza del Campo as the fourth best square in the world.
