The Piazza del Duomo (Piazza dei Miracoli) is the most important artistic and tourist center of Pisa. Recognized as a World Heritage by UNESCO since 1987, you can admire the monuments that form the center of religious life : the cathedral, the baptistery , Campo Santo, and the Campanile .
The poet Gabriele D’Annunzio used the word « miracle » in the novel  » Maybe yes maybe no , » 1910:

« L’Ardea roteò nel cielo di Cristo, sul prato dei Miracoli. »
