Ponte Vecchio


The Ponte Vecchio (“old bridge” in Italian) is the bridge / pedestrian / oldest shopping arcade (XIV century), the most famous and most touristic place of the city of Florence in Italy which it is the emblem. Mecca of jewelry and luxury goldsmith, it crosses the River Arno at its narrowest point, almost in front of the Uffizi Gallery, among Oltrarno and Lungarno. This covered bridge is supported by three arches, the largest of which measures 30 m and the other two 27m.
