The Arch of Trajan Ancona (Arco di Traiano di Ancona in Italian) is one of the most valuable monuments of Roman architecture.
It was erected by the Senate and people of Rome in 100-116 AD , in honor of the emperor who had extended to his own cost, the port city of Ancona. Trajan Ancona port left for the victorious war against the Dacians, episode reported on the bas-reliefs of the stage 58 of the column of Trajan in Rome.
