The ducal castle of Crecchio (Riseis – D’Aragona) is located in the province of Chieti. Now houses the Byzantine and the medieval Museum of Abruzzo .
We can say that the castle was developed from an existing tower called ” Ulivo ” in the thirteenth century style. Significant changes have occurred in the fifteenth century .
