The Orange Tree Square (Piazza degli Aranci in Italian) in the town of Massa in Italy, built after the controversial destruction of the church of San Pietro in 1807 and later embellished by a double row of orange trees that still surrounds the place on three sides, has helped to highlight the huge ducal palace.
