The National Museum of Villa Guinigi (Museo Nazionale di Villa Guinigi in Italian) is a museum of Lucca.
The villa that houses the museum was built by Paolo Guinigi, Lord of Lucca, around 1413. The villa has a single elongated body, with airy loggias with arches supported by columns.
The collections of the National Museum of Villa Guinigi includes an interesting archaeological collection with prehistoric ruins, Etruscan and Roman.
The museum also features artistic and historical collections of the artists of Lucca or foreigners working in the city of Lucca from the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century: paintings, sculptures, clothing and home fabrics both secular and religious.
