The Arch of Constantine (Arco di Costantino) is a triumphal arch with three openings (a central passage with two smaller secondary passages), located in Rome, near the Colosseum. In addition to be a remarkable historical monument, the Arc can be considered a museum of Roman sculpture, extraordinary for its wealth and importance.
The overall dimensions of the prospectus are 21m high, 25.9 meters wide and 7.4 m deep.
The arch was erected to commemorate the victory of Constantine against Maxentius in the Battle of Milvian Bridge (28 October 312) and officially opened July 25 315 .
