The Piramide Cestia (or the Pyramid of Caio Cestio) is an Egyptian-style pyramid in Rome, near Porta San Paolo and the Protestant Cemetery, whose construction was completed in 12 B.C. It was built between 18 and 12 before B.C. as a tomb for Caius Cestius; is made of concrete, with a layer of bricks and marble of Carrara cover plates; is 36.40 meters high with a square base of 30 meters. The pyramid was built in just 330 days, maybe even less.
